Basketball Game Preview: Madill Wildcats vs. Kingston Redskins

The Madill Wildcats and the Kingston Redskins will compete for holiday cheer at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Kingston took a loss in their last contest and will be looking to turn the tables on Madill, who comes in off a win.

Having struggled with six losses in a row dating back to last season, Madill turned things around against Lone Grove on Tuesday. They managed a 54-50 victory over the Longhorns.

Jagger Rogers and Ryan Anderson were among the main playmakers for Madill as the former almost dropped a double-double on 19 points and nine rebounds and the latter posted 20 points. Those nine boards gave Rogers a new career-high. Sammy Duran was another key player, putting up four points and four steals.

Meanwhile, Kingston was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap last Friday as they fell 51-47 to Ada. The Redskins haven't had much luck with the Cougars recently, as the team's come up short the last four times they've met.

Madill's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-4. As for Kingston, their defeat ended a five-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 1-1.

Madill didn't have too much breathing room in their match against Kingston when the teams last played back in January, but they still walked away with a 53-48 victory. Does Madill have another victory up their sleeve, or will Kingston turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
