Basketball Recap: Braylon Reddick's Big Game Can't Quite Lead Spring over Klein Collins

Spring was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They were four points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 58-54 heartbreaker at the hands of the Klein Collins Tigers. The Lions were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Tigers apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in December of 2024.

Several Lions players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Braylon Reddick, who posted seven points and six rebounds. Another player making a difference was Jaylen Gant, who scored nine points.

Spring now has a losing record of 4-5. As for Klein Collins, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 5-3 record this season.

Spring didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 54-48 defeat against Randle on the 4th. As for Klein Collins, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 66-62 loss against Westfield on the 4th.
