Recap: Valdosta Wildcats vs. Tift County Blue Devils
It was a good run, but the Valdosta Wildcats unfortunately witnessed the end of their five-game winning streak on Saturday. They were dealt a 63-31 loss at the hands of Tift County. Valdosta was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 34-10.
Valdosta's defeat dropped their record down to 5-1. As for Tift County, their victory bumped their record up to 1-0.
Valdosta will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Cook at 6:00 p.m. As for Tift County, they will head out on the road to face off against Coffee at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Hopefully Coffee focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 22 last Monday.
