            Two dominant  backs in  Andre Armendariz and  Dylan Souza are getting ready to go toe-to-toe. The Dublin Gaels will host the Foothill Falcons  at 7:15  p.m.  on Friday. The last three games Dublin has played have been within three points, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.
Dublin took  a  32-point  loss the last time they faced off against Granada, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Gaels sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with  a  23-20  win over the Matadors  on Friday.

 Dublin didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off three passes before the game was over. It was truly a group effort as  Christian Acuna,  Aiden Li,  and  Tyler Gray picked up one apiece. Gray is also on a roll when it comes to  total tackles, as he's  now  made six or more in each of the last seven games he's  played.
 Meanwhile, Foothill fell victim to Granada and their airtight defense  last Friday. They were dealt  a  28-0 defeat at the hands of the Matadors. Having soared to a lofty 51  points in the game before, the Falcons' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.
 Foothill's loss dropped their record down to 4-3. As for Dublin, their victory  ended  a  three-game drought on the road  and  puts them at 4-4.
Friday's   matchup might be decided on the ground. Dublin has been excellent on the ground this season,  having  averaged 182.6  rushing yards per game. However, it's not like Foothill struggles in that department as   they've been averaging 147.7  rushing yards. There's a good chance Friday's   contest turns into a tough fight on the ground.
 Dublin didn't have too much breathing room in their  game against Foothill  in their previous matchup  back in October of 2024, but they still walked away with  an  18-14 win. Do  the Gaels have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Falcons turn the tables on them?  We'll have the answer soon enough.
