Basketball Recap: Minden Victorious

Minden won the last time they faced Lexington, and Brett Eckhardt did his part to make sure it happened again. The Minden Whippets came out on top against the Lexington Minutemen by a score of 60-47 on Tuesday thanks in part to Eckhardt, who dropped a double-double on 24 points and 16 boards. That's the most rebounds he has posted since back in December of 2023.

Minden now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Lexington, they are on a 13-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-3.

Minden didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 44-37 loss against Broken Bow on the 12th. As for Lexington, they will venture away from home to face off against York at 4:30 p.m. on Saturday.
