Baseball Recap: Prairie City-Monroe Takes a Loss

Prairie City-Monroe was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They lost 10-0 to the Knoxville Panthers. If the Mustangs were looking for revenge after losing 5-2 to the Panthers when the teams met back in June of 2023, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Prairie City-Monroe's defeat dropped their record down to 6-10. As for Knoxville, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six games. That's provided a nice bump to their 20-10-1 record this season.

Prairie City-Monroe has already played their next contest, a 10-0 win against Greene County on the 3rd. As for Knoxville, they will challenge Bondurant-Farrar at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
