Recap: Moore County Raiders vs. Forrest Rockets
The Moore County Raiders put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their undefeated season alive. Everything went their way against Forrest as Moore County made off with a 35-10 win. The result was nothing new for Moore County, who have now won eight games by 20 points or more so far this season.
Dawson White continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, rushing for 115 yards and a touchdown on only 12 carries, while also throwing for 75 yards and two touchdowns. White is on a roll when it comes to rushing yards, as he's now rushed for 100 or more in the last three games he's played. Logan Hegwood also deserves a shout-out for his two touchdowns.
Moore County's victory was their fifth straight on the road, which bumped their overall record up to 9-0. As for Forrest, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-5.
Moore County will look to defend their home field on Thursday against Richland at 7:00 p.m. Richland will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Tennessee Rankings (they are ranked 263rd, while Moore County is ranked 67th). As for Forrest, they will head out on the road to face off against Fayetteville on Friday.
