Irion County entered their tilt with Garden City on Friday with six consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with seven. They snuck past the Garden City Bearkats with a 45-40 victory. This was a revenge game for the Hornets: when they faced off against the Bearkats back in December of 2024, they had to take a 46-40 loss.
