Basketball Recap: Winslow's Losing Streak Is a Thing of the Past

Winslow's game last Friday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Friday. They managed a 50-45 victory over the Maine Central Institute Huskies. The win was some much needed relief for the Black Raiders as it spelled an end to their four-game losing streak.

Winslow's victory bumped their record up to 10-7. As for Maine Central Institute, they have also traveled a rocky road recently having lost three of their last four matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-10 record this season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Winslow will host Waterville at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Maine Central Institute, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Morse at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
