Basketball Recap: Altamont Takes a Loss

Altamont was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat. They lost 64-44 to the Wendover Wildcats. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Longhorns this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 71-38 two weeks ago.

Altamont's loss dropped their record down to 2-16. As for Wendover, their win bumped their record up to 7-13.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Altamont won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Manila at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday. One thing working in Manila's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last three matches. As for Wendover, they also won't have to wait long for more action: they'll take on Tintic at 5:30 p.m. on Saturday. Tintic will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something Wendover surely won't give up without a fight.
