Volleyball Recap: South Fork Takes Down Port St. Lucie in a Playoff Battle + How To Watch

South Fork had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Port St. Lucie Jaguars on Monday. The victory was nothing new for the Bulldogs as they're now sitting on three straight.

The 3-0 score doesn't show just how dominant South Fork was: they took every set by at least 17 points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-6, 25-8, 25-7.

Avery Eldred paced South Fork's offense, picking up 11 kills. Eldred were helped by Ava Bochenek and Layali Ibrahim, who contributed 11 assists each. Ryan Connelly controlled things from the service line, finishing with five aces.

South Fork's record is now 20-6. As for Port St. Lucie, their defeat was their 15th straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 2-16.

South Fork didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-2 loss against Legacy on the 14th. Port St. Lucie does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
