After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Emerald, Travelers Rest was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They claimed a resounding 35-0 win over the Palmetto Mustangs. The high-scoring performance was a welcome turnaround for the Devildogs' offense, which had struggled in the games prior.

Travelers Rest now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Palmetto, they are on a four-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-3.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Travelers Rest will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Seneca at 7:30 p.m. on the 19th. As for Palmetto, they will challenge Liberty at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
