Baseball Recap: Tri-West Hendricks Takes a Loss

Tri-West Hendricks was the 3-1 winner over Western Boone when they last played one another back in May of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Bruins fell 8-4 to the Stars on Saturday.

Jackson Sorgi was cooking despite his team's loss, going a perfect 3-for-3 with one run and one RBI. Jackson Catt was another key player, getting on base in all four of his plate appearances with one run.

Tri-West Hendricks' loss was their first in the conference, dropping their conference record down to 4-1 and their overall record down to 6-3. As for Western Boone, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 7-5.

Tri-West Hendricks has already played their next match, a 10-0 win against Lebanon on the 28th. As for Western Boone, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next contest, a 12-1 defeat against Clinton Prairie on the 28th.
