Arendell Parrott Academy had lost seven straight at home, but on Thursday they dropped their record down to 2-13 to make it eight. They lost 10-0 to the Harrells Christian Academy Crusaders. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Crusaders this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 14-5 back in March.

As for Harrells Christian Academy, their win ended a four-game drought on the road and puts them at 6-11. With that victory, they brought their scoring average up to 6.3 runs per game.

For Harrells Christian Academy's part, Breelyn Peed was a major factor while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run and allowing only one hit while striking out eight over five innings pitched. Peed has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't given up more than two walks in nine consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, going 2-for-4 with two runs, two RBI, and one double.
