Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Thompson). They blew past the Oak Grove Lutheran Grovers, posting an 85-52 victory. The win was familiar territory for the Tommies who have now won three matches in a row.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Thompson to victory, but perhaps none more so than Gavin Krogstad, who almost dropped a double-double on 21 points and nine boards. The game was Krogstad's third in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Karter Peterson, who went 7 of 10 en route to 18 points and six rebounds.

Thompson smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 13 offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least 13 offensive boards in three consecutive contests.

Thompson's victory was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 11-3. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 65.8 points per game. As for Oak Grove Lutheran, they have been struggling recently as they've lost ten of their last 11 matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-14 record this season.
