Recap: Central Cambria Red Devils vs. Bishop Guilfoyle Marauders
The Central Cambria Red Devils lost against the Bishop Guilfoyle Marauders back in February, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. Central Cambria lost to Bishop Guilfoyle at home by a decisive 60-45 margin.
Several Red Devils players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Brayden Swope, who scored 11 points along with 5 rebounds. The match was Swope's third in a row with at least ten points. Joseph Iacono was another key contributor, scoring 13 points.
Central Cambria's defeat dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Bishop Guilfoyle, the victory makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-0.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Central Cambria will take on Richland at 7:15 p.m. on Monday. Richland comes in still looking for their first win of the season. As for Bishop Guilfoyle, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Philipsburg-Osceola at 7:15 p.m. on Monday.
