 Foothill scored the most  runs they've had all season to find success  on Tuesday. They put the hurt on the Shadow Ridge Mustangs with a sharp  17-9 win. The result was nothing new for Foothill, who have now won nine matchups by six  runs or more  so far this season.
  Logan Shanks made a big impact while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound,   tossing  an inning while giving up   no  earned runs or  hits (he also didn't allow any  walks). Shanks was also stellar in the batter's box,  getting on base  in five of his six plate appearances with a  home run, four  RBI,  and two  runs.
 In other batting news,  Josh Vaughn was  incredible,  scoring two  runs while  getting on base  in four of his five plate appearances.  Zaden Kekoa Sibal was another key contributor,  scoring a  run while going 2-for-5.
 On Shadow Ridge's side,  Evan Noble made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and  scored two  runs while going 2-for-5. The team also got some help courtesy of  Marco Montesanti, who  scored a  run and  stole a base while going 2-for-3.
 The  victory  made it two in a row for Foothill and  bumps their season record up to 16-5-1. As for Shadow Ridge, their defeat  ended  a  four-game streak of wins at home  and  dropped them to 9-12-1.
 Foothill will have a chance to go back-to-back against Shadow Ridge: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled  at 3:30  p.m.  on Thursday.
