It may have taken nine innings to finish the job, but Ridgeline ultimately got the result they hoped for on Thursday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 9-7 victory over the Cheney Blackhawks. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Falcons have posted since March 25th.

Ridgeline's victory ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 6-10. As for Cheney, their defeat was their fourth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 5-10.

Ridgeline will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Blackhawks: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
