Recap: Temple Christian Crusaders vs. Northmor Golden Knights

The Temple Christian Crusaders's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their 16th straight loss dating back to last season. They were beaten by Northmor 66-22. Temple Christian was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 44-13.

Among those leading the charge was Hunter Fulk, who scored 13 points along with five steals. Fulk is absolutely dominating the steal category: he's posted at least two every time he's taken the court this season. Another player making a difference was Cole Cuffman, who scored nine points along with four steals.

Temple Christian bumped their record down to 0-2 with that defeat, which was their ninth straight at home dating back to last season. That rough patch could be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they only averaged 21.2 points per game. As for Northmor, they now have a winning record of 2-1.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Temple Christian will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Lake Ridge Academy at 1:00 p.m. on February 3, 2024. As for Northmor, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Pleasant at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Hopefully Pleasant focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up ten on Saturday.
