Southwest DeKalb hadn't done well against St. Pius X Catholic recently (they were 0-3 in their previous three matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Friday. The Panthers claimed a resounding 41-10 victory over the Golden Lions. Considering the Panthers have won four matches by more than 30 points this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

The win (which was Southwest DeKalb's fourth in a row) raised their record to 4-1. The victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 2.5 points on average over those games. As for St. Pius X Catholic, their loss was their first of the season and also makes their record 4-1.
