There's no place like home for the Bishop Kenny Crusaders, who bounced back after a tough loss on the road last Saturday. They snuck past Rogers Heritage with a 47-42 victory on Wednesday. The success was a return to things as normal for Bishop Kenny, who in their previous outing suffered a shocking 45-38 upset defeat to Sumter.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Bishop Kenny to victory, but perhaps none more so than Kathleen Crawley, who scored 14 points. Sydney Roundtree was another key contributor, scoring seven points along with three steals.

Bishop Kenny's victory was their 20th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 10-2. They've been dominating during the games in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 23.6 points. As for Rogers Heritage, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-9.

Bishop Kenny won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Green Hill at 7:00 p.m. on December 28th. Green Hill will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in their respective state's rankings (they are ranked 117th in Tennessee, while Bishop Kenny is ranked 11th in Florida). As for Rogers Heritage, they will look to defend their home court on January 5, 2024 against Fayetteville at 6:00 p.m.
