Basketball Recap: South Jefferson Comes Up Short

On Saturday, the South Jefferson Spartans came up short against the Central Square Redhawks and fell 53-42.

South Jefferson now has a losing record at 3-4. As for Central Square, the victory was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 8-4.

The future could be bright for both South Jefferson and Central Square: their next opponents haven't had the best luck recently. South Jefferson will try to hand General Brown their third-straight defeat when the two meet at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Central Square will look to extend Auburn's four-game losing streak when the meet at 6:45 p.m. on Wednesday.
