Basketball Recap: Faith Christian Find Success

Faith Christian hasn't had much luck at home recently (they'd lost six straight) but thanks in part to Matthew Burton that streak is no more. The Faith Christian Warriors came out on top against the Craig County Rockets by a score of 57-46 on Monday thanks in part to Burton, who dropped a double-double on 35 points and 12 boards. The dominant performance gave him a new career-high in points.

Faith Christian's victory bumped their record up to 4-5. As for Craig County, their defeat was their eighth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 0-10.

Faith Christian will venture away from home to take on James River at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Faith Christian has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games. As for Craig County, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Highland at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.
