Softball Recap: Corsicana Sets Scoring Season-High Against Red Oak

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Corsicana). Everything went their way against the Red Oak Hawks on Tuesday as they made off with a 25-9 victory. The Tigers not only won on Tuesday, but they posted their biggest win since April 9, 2024.

Corsicana's win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 8-14-1. Those home victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 12.3 runs over those games. As for Red Oak, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 13-10-1.

Corsicana does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Red Oak, they will face off against Crandall at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
