Basketball Recap: Farmington Comes Up Short

Farmington was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their eighth straight defeat. They were dealt a 47-17 loss at the hands of the Cuba/Spoon River Valley Wildcats. The Farmers were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 31-9.

Farmington's record is now 6-20. As for Cuba/Spoon River Valley, their victory ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 8-11.

Farmington wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 55-17 defeat against Kewanee on the 1st. Cuba/Spoon River Valley has also already played their next matchup, a 44-40 win against ROWVA/Williamsfield on the 1st.
