Volleyball Recap: Delta Takes a Loss

Delta was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat dating back to last season. They came up short against the Gideon Bulldogs, falling 3-0. If the Chargers were looking for revenge after losing 3-0 to the Bulldogs when the teams met back in September of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Delta took the loss but they managed to make steady progress, increasing their score in every set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-5, 25-9, 25-13.

Delta's loss dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Gideon, they pushed their record up to 11-1 with the victory, which was their fourth straight at home.

Coincidentally, Delta and Gideon will both be playing North Pemiscot the next time they take the court. The Bulldogs will head out to face the Mustangs at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday, while the Chargers will host them at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
