Recap: Doddridge County Bulldogs vs. Tyler Knights
The Doddridge County Bulldogs had already won five in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 20 points), and they went ahead and made it six on Tuesday. They came out on top against Tyler by a score of 60-47. This was payback for Doddridge County, who suffered a 56-54 loss the last time these two teams met.
Brandon Hileman continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, scoring 31 points along with five rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points he has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Jerod Trent, who scored five points along with seven assists and six rebounds.
Doddridge County pushed their record up to 9-3 with that victory, which was their fifth straight at home. As for Tyler, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-10.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Doddridge County will face off against the Eagles at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Braxton County has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games. Tyler will be staying on the road on Friday to face off against the Blue Devils at 7:30 p.m. on February 2nd.
