Volleyball Recap: Adams Triumphs

Adams won the last time they faced Stoney Creek and things went their way on Thursday too. The Highlanders walked away with a 2-0 win over the Cougars.

The 2-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Adams was: they took both sets by at least 11 points. The final score came out to 25-10, 25-14.

Marcus Edgar paced Adams' offense, picking up six kills. Edgar got some help from Saswath Velayudham and his 23 assists. Velayudham was also solid from the service line: he led the team with six aces.

Adams' victory bumped their record up to 16-9-3. As for Stoney Creek, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 0-2.

Adams wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 2-0 win against Chippewa Valley on the 8th. Stoney Creek does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
