Baseball Recap: Westmoreland Takes a Loss

Westmoreland managed to slip by Macon County the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. Westmoreland came up short against Macon County on Tuesday, falling 8-0. The match marked the first time this season in which the Eagles were not able to get on the board.

Westmoreland's defeat dropped their record down to 8-3. As for Macon County, the victory snapped their losing streak at four games and leaves them with a 4-4 record.

Westmoreland wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next game, a 16-4 win against Monroe County on the 20th. As for Macon County, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 13-3 victory against Clay County on the 20th.
