It was a good run, but Union Parish unfortunately witnessed the end of their four-game winning streak on Monday. They took a 39-33 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Arcadia Hornets. While losing is never fun, the Farmers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Louisiana basketball rankings (they are ranked 218th, while the Hornets are ranked 76th).

Union Parish's defeat dropped their record down to 13-15. As for Arcadia, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 14-5.

Union Parish will venture away from home to take on Delhi at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Arcadia has already played their next contest (against Plain Dealing), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
