            Corinth Christian Academy never let their opponents score on Friday. They were the clear victors by  an  11-0 margin over the Hope Christian Academy Lions. The Warriors might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won three contests by 11  runs or more this season.
 Peyton Smith made a splash while hitting and pitching. He  tossed two innings while giving up   no  earned runs off   one  hit. Smith was also solid in the batter's box,  scoring a  run and  stealing a base while going 3-for-4. The dominant performance also gave  him a new career-high in  RBI (two).

 In other batting news,  Alden Hughes was a standout: he scored two  runs and  stole two bases while going 3-for-3. Those  two  stolen bases gave  him a new career-high.  Justin Tolle was another key player,  scoring two  runs and  stealing four bases while going 2-for-3.
 Corinth Christian Academy was getting hits left and right  and  finished the game having  posted a batting average of .560. That's the best  batting average they've posted all season.
The  win made it two in a row for Corinth Christian Academy and  bumps their season record up to 3-2. The  victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 1  runs in those games. As for Hope Christian Academy,  they are  on  a  five-game losing streak  that has dropped them down to 0-5.
 We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Corinth Christian Academy is set to  take on  their familiar foe Open Bible Christian  at 4:30  p.m.  on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Hope Christian Academy will  challenge  rival Northside Christian Academy  at 5:00  p.m.  on Tuesday.
