Soccer Recap: Riverview Takes a Loss

If Riverview was feeling good fresh off their 8-0 takedown of Jefferson on Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Pirates fell 2-0 to the Huron Chiefs on Friday. Riverview haven't had much luck with Huron recently, as the team has come up short the last five times they've met.

Riverview's defeat was their first in the league, dropping their league record down to 1-1-1 and their overall record down to 3-2-1. As for Huron, the win was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 5-1.

While Riverview had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
