Softball Game Preview: Ash Fork/Seligman Spartans vs. Mogollon Mustangs

The Ash Fork/Seligman Spartans will challenge the Mogollon Mustangs at 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Ash Fork/Seligman lost 15-3 to Joseph City on Monday. The Spartans have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Crystal Nixon was cooking despite her team's loss, going 1-for-2 with one home run.

Meanwhile, Mogollon was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They came up short against Superior, falling 16-9. That's two games in a row now that the Mustangs have lost by exactly seven runs.

Mogollon's defeat dropped their record down to 7-12. As for Ash Fork/Seligman, they now have a losing record of 7-8.
