Baseball Recap: McCallum Takes a Loss

McCallum was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They came up short against the Glenn Grizzlies, falling 16-4. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Knights of the 8-3 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in February of 2024.

McCallum's defeat dropped their record down to 3-8-1. As for Glenn, their win bumped their record up to 2-5.

Coming up, McCallum will be playing in front of their home fans against Navarro at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. McCallum has given up an average of 8.2 runs per game this season, so hopefully the team got some pitching drills in this week. As for Glenn, they will head out to square off against Rouse at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The timing is sure in Rouse's favor as the team sits on three straight wins at home while Glenn has been banged up by six consecutive losses on the road dating back to last season.
