West Oso is preparing for their first district matchup of the season on Friday. They will be playing at home against the Taft Greyhounds at 7:30 p.m. West Oso is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 8.2 runs per game this season.

Taft's defeat dropped their record down to 5-8-1. As for West Oso, they dropped their record down to 7-4 with the loss, which was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season.
