North Greene is a perfect 5-0 against Chuckey-Doak since March of 2023 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The Huskies will take on the Black Knights at 5:00 p.m. North Greene is coming into the matchup hot, having won their last five games.

North Greene and South Greene faced off in a cross-town battle on Monday. The Huskies put the hurt on the Rebels with a sharp 9-2 win. The result was nothing new for the Huskies, who have now won eight games by seven runs or more so far this season.

Meanwhile, Chuckey-Doak earned a 15-11 victory over Johnson County on Monday.

Jayden Myers made a splash while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she tossed three innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits. The dominant performance also gave her a new career-high in strikeouts (four). She was also stellar in the batter's box, going 3-for-5 with two runs, two RBI, and one double.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Emmie Tipton, who went 2-for-4 with two stolen bases, four RBI, and two runs. Those two hits gave her a new career-high. Tralyn Southerland was another key player, going 1-for-4 with one home run, two runs, and two RBI.

North Greene pushed their record up to 9-3 with the win, which was their third straight on the road. The road victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 11.3 runs over those games. As for Chuckey-Doak, their record is now 4-13.

Everything went North Greene's way against Chuckey-Doak in their previous meeting on Friday, as North Greene made off with an 18-8 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Huskies since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
