Basketball Recap: Lauderdale County Takes a Loss

Lauderdale County was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They were five points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 70-65 heartbreaker at the hands of the Hatton Hornets. The Tigers were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Hornets earlier this season, when they won 60-43.

Lauderdale County's defeat dropped their record down to 9-14. As for Hatton, with the victory, they broke their nine-game losing streak and moved their record to 4-22.

Lauderdale County is taking a road trip to face off against Rogers at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Hatton, they will face off against Wilson at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday. Hatton has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.
