Basketball Game Preview: North Forsyth Vikings vs. T.W. Andrews Red Raiders

North Forsyth hasn't had much luck against T.W. Andrews recently, but that could start to change on Friday. The North Forsyth Vikings will welcome the T.W. Andrews Red Raiders at 7:30 p.m. North Forsyth has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.

Having struggled with four losses in a row, North Forsyth turned things around against Atkins last Saturday. They snuck past the Camels with a 65-60 win.

North Forsyth got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Drahcir Williams out in front who posted 20 points along with seven assists and five boards. With that strong performance, Williams is now averaging an impressive 15.6 points per game. The team also got some help courtesy of Kerry Smith, who put up 13 points in addition to seven assists and seven boards.

Williams wasn't the only one working in the assists department: North Forsyth was working as a unit and finished the game with 19 assists. That's the most assists they've managed all season.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask T.W. Andrews). They enjoyed a cozy 78-64 win over Grace Christian Academy on Monday. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Red Raiders.

T.W. Andrews is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matchups, which provided a massive bump to their 5-4 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 68.8 points per game. As for North Forsyth, their victory bumped their record up to 3-5.

North Forsyth came up short against T.W. Andrews when the teams last played back in January, falling 71-63. Can North Forsyth avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
