Mission Bay had lost four straight headed into Monday's matchup, but Brynn Sloan didn't let it get to five. The Buccaneers were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Hilltop Lancers on Monday for which the team can thank Sloan, who had 12 digs and four aces. She has been hot recently, having posted ten or more digs the last three times she's played.

The final score came out to 25-20, 25-10, 25-10.

Mission Bay's victory bumped their record up to 19-15. As for Hilltop, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 20-11.

Mission Bay didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-1 win against Lincoln on the 21st. As for Hilltop, they will challenge Southwest SD at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
