Soccer Recap: Saturday's Win Is Covenant Christian Academy's Fourth in Last Five Outings

Covenant Christian Academy won the last time they faced South Lafourche and things went their way on Saturday too. The Covenant Christian Academy Lions walked away with a 3-1 victory over the South Lafourche Tarpons. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Lions.

Owen Trosclair and Carsen Hebert scored all three of Covenant Christian Academy's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 31 goals.

Covenant Christian Academy has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matches, which provided a nice bump to their 9-3-2 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 15 goals over those five games. As for South Lafourche, their loss dropped their record down to 6-5.

Covenant Christian Academy didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 defeat against De La Salle on the 23rd. As for South Lafourche, they will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Thibodaux at 7:00 p.m. on January 3rd.
