Baseball Recap: Texico Takes a Loss

Texico lost against Loving on Saturday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Wolverines fell just short of the Falcons by a score of 7-6. The Wolverines have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Texico saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Hunter Bowman, who went 1-for-3 with two runs.

Texico's defeat dropped their record down to 3-7. As for Loving, they are on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 8-4 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Texico will square off against rival Eunice at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Loving is set to face off against their familiar foe Jal at 4:30 a.m. on Tuesday.
