Baseball Recap: Shadow Hills' Losing Streak Snapped at Seven Games

Shadow Hills came into Monday's matchup having lost seven straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They had just enough and edged out the Upland Highlanders/Scots 2-1 on Monday. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Knights have posted since March 18, 2024.

Alex Arizaga was excellent, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 2-for-5. The dominant performance gave him a new career-high in runs. The team also got some help courtesy of Ernesto Ibarra, who went 2-for-5 with three stolen bases.

Shadow Hills' first win this season bumped their record up to 1-3. As for Upland, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-3.

Shadow Hills wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next game, an 11-0 victory against Carter on the 26th. Upland has also already played their next contest (against Claremont), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
