Basketball Recap: Carrollton Comes Up Short

Carrollton lost against Canton South back in December of 2023 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Carrollton Warriors took a 46-42 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Canton South Wildcats. The loss was a bit of a surprise, as the Warriors came into the match with a sizable advantage in MaxPreps' Ohio basketball rankings (they are ranked 148th, while the Wildcats are ranked 558th).

Carrollton's defeat dropped their record down to 13-6. As for Canton South, their victory bumped their record up to 9-11.

Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing Northwest the next time they take the court. Canton South will head out to face Northwest at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, while Carrollton will head out to face them at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday.
