Soccer Recap: Southeastern HomeSchool Comes Up Short

Southeastern HomeSchool managed to keep up with DASH until halftime on Thursday, but things quickly went downhill from there. The Cardinals lost 5-1 to the United. While losing is never fun, Southeastern HomeSchool can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' North Carolina soccer rankings (they are ranked 311th, while DASH are ranked 51st).

Southeastern HomeSchool's goal came courtesy of Hannah Whaley, who's now up to 19 this season.

Southeastern HomeSchool's loss was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 4-6-1. As for DASH, their win bumped their record up to 13-2.

Southeastern HomeSchool wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next game, a 7-1 victory against Asheville HomeSchool on the 2nd. As for DASH, they also didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next match, a 0-0 draw against New Life Camp on the 29th.
