Cupertino has gone 8-2 against Saratoga recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. The Pioneers will venture away from home to take on the Falcons at 4:00 p.m. Neither of those teams managed to put together many runs in their previous contests, so the offenses might be a little more motivated than usual.

Cupertino managed to slip by Ann Sobrato the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Pioneers came up short against the Bulldogs on Saturday, falling 8-0. Considering the last time the Pioneers couldn't score was back in February, the team can't take the result too hard.

Meanwhile, Thursday just wasn't the day for Saratoga's offense. They lost 9-0 to Santa Clara on Thursday. The Falcons have struggled against the Bruins recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive lost meeting.

Saratoga's defeat dropped their record down to 5-13. As for Cupertino, their loss dropped their record down to 12-11-1.

Cupertino took their win against Saratoga when the teams last played back in March by a conclusive 9-1 score. Will the Pioneers repeat their success, or do the Falcons have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
