Basketball Recap: NC GBB Academy Takes a Loss

NC GBB Academy was the 68-61 winner over Word of God Christian Academy when they last played one another back in January, but their luck changed this time around. The NC GBB Academy Eagles took a 61-56 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Word of God Christian Academy Holy Rams. The Eagles have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Brandon Solomon was his usual excellent self, dropping a double-double with 22 points and 12 boards for Word of God Christian Academy. The dominant performance gave Solomon a new career-high in rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Nasir Westbrook, who posted eight points and eight boards.

NC GBB Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 4-10. As for Word of God Christian Academy, the victory got them back to even at 12-12.

NC GBB Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Word of God Christian Academy, they have already played their next matchup, a 59-52 loss against Winston Salem Christian on the 14th.
