Baseball Recap: Lapwai Takes a Loss

Friday just wasn't the day for Lapwai's offense. They came up short against the Kendrick Tigers on Friday, falling 16-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Tigers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 18-0 on Friday.

This is the second loss in a row for Lapwai and nudges their season record down to 1-8. As for Kendrick, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight games. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-2 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Lapwai will challenge rival Lewis County co-op [Highland/Nezperce] at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. Meanwhile, Kendrick is set to square off against their familiar foe Troy at 4:30 p.m. on Monday.
