Windsor was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their 11th straight defeat dating back to last season. They came up short against the Poultney Blue Devils, falling 26-18. On the bright side, the 18- run effort marked the Yellowjackets' highest-scoring match to date.

Cassie Clark was cooking despite her team's loss, going 3-for-4 with five RBI, three runs, and two doubles. Anna Bergeron was another key player, getting on base in four of her six plate appearances with three runs and two RBI.

Windsor's loss dropped their record down to 0-9. As for Poultney, their win ended a five-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 3-3.

Coming up, Windsor will head out to challenge Bellows Falls at 4:45 p.m. on Thursday. As for Poultney, they will welcome Long Trail at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
