Mallard Creek came out on top against West Mecklenburg on Tuesday thanks in part to Jordyn Washington's efforts. Washington posted nine points in addition to eight boards and three steals, which was good enough to set a new career-high in rebounds in the process. He has become a key player for Mallard Creek: the team is undefeated when he posts at least three steals, but 9-11 otherwise.

Looking ahead, Washington and Mallard Creek are taking a road trip to square off against Chambers at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
