Volleyball Recap: Frontier Regional Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Frontier Regional managed to slip by Agawam the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Red Hawks lost 3-0 to the Brownies on Monday. The Red Hawks have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-13, 25-21, 25-15.

Greta Hale paced Frontier Regional's offense, picking up four kills. Hale got some help from Cadence Martin and her nine assists. Hale also made an impact serving: she shared the team lead in aces with Caitlin Maio, each putting up three.

Among those leading the charge was Leah Cizek, who had 11 digs and one assist. Those 11 digs gave her a new career-high. Toni Vassallo also deserves some recognition as she had her first block of the season.

Frontier Regional's defeat dropped their record down to 3-7. As for Agawam, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 4-7.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Frontier Regional will square off against rival Westfield at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Meanwhile, Agawam is set to take on their familiar foe Amherst-Pelham Regional at 6:45 p.m. on Wednesday.
